Ya'at'eeh everyone,

Here's a few questions that you can answer and please do reply if you are interested in adding your responses by 6 pm this evening:

  1. How do you feel about your language? Do you have a lot of speakers? Are the younger ones speaking the language?

  2. Do you currently have a language or cultural teaching program at your library?

     * When did it start and have the C&L programs changed over time?

     * What is the age range of those attending?

     * What were your C&L programs looking like before the pandemic?

  3. What does the future of the C&L programs look like?

  4. What types of events have been set up to promote language or cultural teachings?

  5. What are your thoughts about libraries serving as a language and cultural hub for the community?

  6. What are some barriers and/or challenges that you have come across to implement a successful program (such as written or oral or tribal approvals)?

  7. What do you see for the future of your library and the language?

Ahé’héé’ (thank you),
Donovan
