Subject: Free Coyote & Crow games

Jonna,

I recently learned about a free game from my work in ALA’s Games and Gaming Round Table. I was hoping you could distribute this information to the NMLA NALSIG list-serv. Coyote & Crow roleplaying game developers describe it as: “Developed and led by a team of Natives, this game envisions a world where colonization never happened and Indigenous nations rose to future prominence.” The developers are working on a larger distribution workflow in the future, but currently you can find information on their Donations and Outreach page<https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcoyoteandcrow.net%2Fdonations-and-outreach%2F&data=05%7C01%7C%7C868f3548895e4c628e3308dab047f155%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C638016120286186996%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=Lwpk0R%2BEJV0B4fgRr0w5xS5wPPX6arz4KJ%2FonLlbRbU%3D&reserved=0>.

>From their website: “Donation Mission: One of our goals at Coyote & Crow Games is to get as many copies of our game into the hands of kids and folks who couldn’t otherwise afford to buy the game, especially Indigenous youth. To that end, we offered a pledge tier in our initial crowdfunding campaign that included the option to pay for a book to be donated. While our original plan was to get the books into reservation, tribal, and First Nation libraries specifically, we were so successful that we’ve broadened the scope of what we’re trying to do by by getting books out to schools, community centers, all public libraries, and anywhere else that folks can get free access to the materials.”

Thanks,

Regina
