The good news is that funding is now available for equipment. The survey is quick and easy.

Reminder: Applications for the FCC’s Tribal Libraries E-Rate Pilot Program Due This Friday!

As you may know, the FCC recently launched a pilot program with its E-Rate program administrator, the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), that will provide one-on-one assistance to Tribal libraries seeking E-Rate program support during the upcoming 2023 funding year.

The interest survey to participate in the Tribal Libraries pilot program is due by this Friday, November 18, 2022. Click here<https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/7040579/E-Rate-Tribal-Libraries-Pilot-Program> to fill out the brief interest survey now. Interested Tribal libraries should be prepared to provide a brief description about your library, including existing broadband resources and what broadband services your library would like to offer to its library patrons, information about its eligibility as a Tribal library, a point of contact, and Tribal affiliation. In order to fully assess each applicant, we ask that you respond to each question on the survey to the best of their ability. We understand that applicants may not know all of the specific details requested at this time, but providing at least a general summary will give us a better idea of where each library stands so we can better help.

To learn more about the E-Rate program and the new Pilot Program, please check out our new dedicated webpage for Tribal libraries: https://www.fcc.gov/tribal-libraries<https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fcc.gov%2Ftribal-libraries&data=05%7C01%7CAILA%40si-listserv.si.edu%7C69ab542f7fed40f24e2c08dac7605fe8%7C989b5e2a14e44efe93b78cdd5fc5d11c%7C0%7C0%7C638041514014534906%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=WZ6RYkSh8fsnqvJoiRizG9xeN9TVTqM%2BbFwDxDEr9uk%3D&reserved=0>.

We hope you will partner with us and help to spread the word about this new pilot program. If you have any questions about the pilot program, suggestions for our webpage, or other steps we can take to encourage Tribal libraries to apply for E-Rate support, please contact us at native at fcc.gov<mailto:native at fcc.gov>.
