[Nmtriblibs] Informal discussion on statewide disaster planning for libraries

Hi New Mexico Librarians,

The recent fires have highlighted a need for statewide disaster planning for libraries.  Val Nye, SFCC Library Director, and I will facilitate an informal discussion on this topic on Tuesday, June 21 at Noon.

We hope this discussion will guide future development of statewide plans and professional development opportunities to include issues like communication, transportation, prioritizing collections, storage, insurance, and so on.   Especially appreciated are librarians who have been dealing with these issue recently and can highlights some of the things you only learn when you go through it.
