To celebrate the opening of the Museum of Indian Art & Culture’s newest exhibition, “Painted Reflections: Isomeric Design in Ancestral Pueblo Pottery,” the museum is hosting a virtual symposium, "Painted Reflections: A Virtual Symposium for New Understandings of Ancestral Pueblo Art.”



WHAT: A FREE virtual program, “Painted Reflections: A Virtual Symposium for New Understandings of Ancestral Pueblo Art” will present cutting-edge research and interpretation in the study of ancestral Pueblo pottery by the exhibition co-curators, Dr. Joseph Traugott, Dr. Scott Ortman, and Tony Chavarria (Santa Clara Pueblo), as well as discussions with several collaborators on the project.
