COMMITTEE HEARING - HOUSE TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 153

The General Obligation Bond Projects bill, including $19 million for library bond B, was heard by the Senate Finance Committee this morning.

The hearing  on HB 153 begins at 9:43:20 am. Public comment begins at 9:46 am, with one supporter testifying. Committee questions begin at 9:47:15 am. The committee votes at 9:48 am, with a "do-pass" recommendation on a unanimous vote. This segment ends at 9:51 am.


HOUSE FLOOR SCHEDULE

HB 2, the General Appropriations Act of 2022, including the State Library budget and several other library appropriations, is on today's House of Representatives Concurrence Calendar, and will likely receive a vote on final passage today.


COMMITTEE HEARING - SB 212 CAPITAL OUTLAY PROJECTS

It is scheduled to be heard by the Senate Finance Committee today "1/2 hour after Floor Session or -....".

At the end of the hearing on HB 153, Committee Chair Muñoz noted that SB 212 is not yet ready for presentation. It might still come before the committee following the Floor Session today.
