ATALM anticipates awarding 175 grants to Native cultural institutions and their partners ranging from $5,000 to $50,000. Applications will be reviewed between October 20th and December 13th. Eligible entities include:

  *   Federally recognized tribal governments with cultural institutions
  *   Tribal cultural facilities with non-profit status
  *   Non-tribal 501(c)3 cultural institutions working in partnership with tribes
  *   Higher education institutions working in partnership with tribes

Funds may be used for operational support or for programs that bring scholars/cultural practitioners and the public together in a dialogue that embraces the civic and cultural life of Native communities.
