Thanks to funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities "Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan (SHARP), more than $3 million will be regranted through the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums (ATALM).  Up to 175 grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 for one-year projects will be awarded.

Draft applications will be reviewed by ATALM staff through Thursday, December 9.  Final applications are due Monday, December 13 at 11:59 p.m. Central.

Eligible entities include:

  *   Federally recognized tribal governments with cultural institutions
  *   Tribal cultural facilities with non-profit status
  *   Non-tribal 501(c)3 cultural institutions working in partnership with tribes
  *   Higher education institutions working in partnership with tribes

Funds may be used for operational support or for programs that bring scholars/cultural practitioners and the public together in a dialogue that embraces the civic and cultural life of Native communities.
