I also attached PED's news release concerning the EBB. Information regarding the Federal Poverty Guidelines can be found here: https://aspe.hhs.gov/2021-poverty-guidelines#guidelines For quick reference, libraries and schools apply for ECF to get reimbursements on eligible equipment and services that have been purchased since July 1, 2020 to current and the EBB is for households to apply to receive monthly discounts on their monthly broadband service. Also, CIPA may apply to items and services purchased under the ECF. For applicants filing for EBB, they should be aware of contract terms that they are signing up for (if it's new service). Funds may run out at any given time and the applicant should understand their options and obligations when signing up for new service with EBB subsidies. Emergency Broadband Benefit toolkit materials are now available for download. The outreach toolkit is a collection of social media, printables, and other content to assist communities, outreach partners, and grassroots organizers in raising awareness about the Emergency Broadband Benefit. All of the printed materials, except the poster, are designed to be printed in color or grayscale and can easily be printed on home or small office printers. Partners can copy and paste items like model tweets, a press release, and a newsletter insert. Social media images are also available to help spread awareness. Audio PSAs are currently posted and will soon be joined by videos that provide an overview of the program including an American Sign Language version. In addition to English and Spanish language versions of the materials, a fact sheet and two smaller printable handouts are available in Arabic, Amharic, Burmese, Traditional Chinese, French, Haitian Creole, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Somali, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. These tools are free to use and can be co-branded and/or adjusted to your voice. Last week, the FCC announced that beginning on May 12, 2021, eligible households will be able to apply for the Emergency Broadband Benefit.
