[Nmtriblibs] DCA Colas y Cuentos acitivity books on their way!

Hi Libraries,

I am happy to tell you that the State Library is sponsoring the printing of a new 48 page coloring/activity book from the Department of Cultural Affairs with a Tails and Tales/Colas y Cuentos theme (sneak peek below).  We will be shipping them to all of the public and tribal libraries (quantity based on your population) in approximately 2 weeks.  A pdf version will also be freely available if you want to print more copies, or print specific pages.

The education staff from the various state museums, historic sites, and other cultural institutions (including the state library) all contributed and I'm excited by how well it has turned out.  I hope you will find it a good prize or giveaway with your summer reading programs!  It is geared to younger school-aged children but I think there is something for the entire family.

Please let me know if you would prefer not to receive a shipment and I will take you off the list.

Best of luck for a fun summer reading program!  What you do to keep kids engaged in learning and discovering new interests is so important!
