Dear Cassandra:

While the grant deadline for the ATALM/National Endowment for the Humanities "Sustaining the Humanities Through the American Rescue Plan (SHARP) was December 13, we have received multiple requests for extensions to apply from organizations that were impacted by situations beyond their control.

To be fair to the applicants who submitted before the deadline (Round 1), we will consider Round Two applications on a provisional basis. If funds remain after Round One applications are reviewed, Round Two applications will be considered.

About 100 applications were received in Round One requesting $3.98 million out of a possible $3.4 million in available funds. Preliminary reviews of the applications indicate that funds may be available for qualifying Round Two applicants.

Round Two applications are due Friday, December 31, at 11:59 p.m. Central.
