Greetings,

I wanted to share with you and opportunity that that is available to all public and tribal libraries across the state.

The Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC) is a nationwide non-profit that assists communities with technology after catastrophic events. Seeing that we are in a time of uncertainty and that are in a time of global pandemic, ITDRC created Project Connect. In short, through Project Connect ITDRC is providing schools and libraries free parking lot wireless access points so that they can provide each community with internet connectivity solutions.


·         ITDRC will install (1) outdoor rated wireless access point.

·         They will handle all parts of the installation from the outdoor mounting of the wireless access point and run cable back to your current network equipment.

·         The new access point will be connected to your current network setup.

·         You should already have adequate internet service in place to be able to support possible increase in number devices connected to your network.

·         If you're interested, ITDRC will have your new wireless access points installed in a matter of weeks.

·         When working with ITDRC, make sure that you let them know if you have any network specific requirements
