What's The Future of Technology in New Mexico in the year of Covid-19?

Addressing the technical, financial and pedagogical challenges of the new normal.


PSFA, in partnership with NM PED, NM State Library, Solix, and E-Rate Central, is hosting an informative and interactive session to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and the landscape anchor institutions will face over the next several years.  It will be a high-level discussion aimed at arming school administrators, technical staff, librarians, and local officials with the tools needed to survive and thrive in these challenging times.
Topics to include:

  *   Legislative Outlook:  pending changes to various funding and technical support programs
  *   Bridging the Digital Divide: what has been done, what needs to be done, and how do we get there
  *   Technological Update: where is it headed and how does it help meet our demands
  *   Whole Community Approach: how anchor institutions can work together to solve common problems
  *   Power in Numbers: opportunities for various jurisdictions to collaborate to create cost effective and supportable solutions
