This is just a reminder that staff from the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture to discuss Summer Reading this year.  Details for the Zoom meeting this afternoon at 2pm are at the bottom.

What does summer programming look like for tribes and how can MIAC support?


We'd like to get a sense of the pulse, so to speak, from our tribal library colleagues regarding summer programming. Previous summers, MIAC hosted a Summer Reading program with students enrolled at their tribe's summer reading programs. Last year's program focused on space and astronomy. This year's summer reading theme is Storytelling. I imagine this can take a variety of forms from family stories, recipes, tribal histories, art as story, etc. we'd like input. Online programming? Etc. Given this year's theme Imagine Your Story, what kind of programming would you like to see at MIAC? K-12 Programming, Hands on Activities?
