Good Morning, Tribal Library Directors,
If you have heard about this film, but haven't had an opportunity to see it yet, it will be shown on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Santa Fe Indian Center (Located in the Center for Progress and Justice with large bold letters that say 1420 across the front of the building, it is on Cerrillos across the street from SF Indian School.) The film will begin at 6:00pm.  As an added bonus the film features our own Jeannie Whitehorse.  Please consider attending - it is sure to be an interesting and powerful movie.  Hope all is well and those who attended ATALM are back safe and sound.

SFIC Lecture Series Continues
Oct. 22nd, 6pm at 1420 Cerrillos Road - Santa Fe Indian Center presents Ama,' a powerful documentary film by Lorna Tucker that exposes the forced sterilization of thousands of Native American women by the US Government. The film includes testimonies from women and a revealing interview with the doctor whose population control ideas formed some of these government policies. Guest speakers include Pam Kingfisher, Cherokee.
