Hello Tribal Library Directors,
Have you ever had a tourist visit you library and say things about your people that are not accurate? Well, send them to this website (The document itself is 52 pages - but there are plenty of photos and charts).  You might even want to print this out to hand to well-meaning folks who might wander into your library with some pretty crazy notions of Indian Country and Natives in general (http://www.ncai.org/tribalnations/introduction/Tribal_Nations_and_the_United_States_An_Introduction-web-.pdf).  Just a good resource that debunks many incorrect and negative stereotypes that are still out there in the wider American population.  Use it as you see fit.  Thank you all for ALL you do!
