Deanne just alerted me to this exciting news: Tommy<news:Tommy> Orange won the PEN/Hemingway Award for his novel "There There." If you all haven't ordered a copy of this book for your collection, I highly recommend it.  It focuses on urban Indians in the Bay Area.  Mr. Orange is a graduate of IAIA!
