Hello Tribal Librarians,

I just spoke to Amber Carrillo who is the Tribal Partnership Specialist for the 10 Southern Pueblos, Mescalero Apache Tribe and urban Native American organizations in the southern portion of the state, and she wanted me to let you all know that you are invited to a day-long training at Isleta Golf Course Conference Room on May 9, 2019, time: 8:00am - 4:30pm.  Please put this important meeting on your calendars and please make plans to attend.  I am sure that you all are aware of the importance of creating an accurate count of the people in our state, because this information  is used for all manner of government services from the number of Congress members that NM sends to Washington DC to housing and food assistance as well as funds for education and wellness. (Please see the attached letter). So I hope to see as many of you there as possible.  Thank you all for ALL you do!
